Some Peoples Diets are All or Nothing
53
It has been reported about dieting that sometimes I am curious that if all that could possibly be written hasn't already been written. Maybe it has but the odds are you haven't read everything and neither have I. Though much information is accessible about dieting the most important facts are the ones that apply to you.
In this write up I will announce a type of mentality that some individuals have that sets them up for defeat even before they start. Read more to determine if this mindset pertains to you. Individuals who have an all or nothing frame of mind normally choose a complicated weight loss plan that is almost impossible to accomplish.

There IS no Perfect Diet
Before they start they throw out all the junk food or even food that is
good if it doesn't fit into their diet plan. They have the attitude that
their diet will be perfect without slip-up or failure. Maybe a day,
week or month passes and so far so good.
Then it happens. They
mess up and eat something they shouldn't have as part of the diet plan.
As far as they are concerned the diet is over. Feeling despair over
their shortcoming they reward their disappointment by binging on comfort
foods only further destroying any last hopes of salvaging what might
have resulted in a successful diet. Before long they are regaining any
weight they may have lost and possibly adding more to it.
What Kind of Dieter Are You?
Are you this kind of dieter? If so, you need to ask yourself why you allow yourself to fall into this self-defeating trap. How much do you want to lose weight? Are you just interested in losing a few pounds and regaining them back now and then or do you truly want to lose weight permanently? Rather than having an "all or nothing mindset " it's better to make smaller changes in the way you eat than to go on a very strict diet impossible to keep. With small yet healthy changes you will lose weight at a slower rate but still have a better chance of achieving permanent weight loss. Need more help?
